Can't be just me: Part 1
I don’t know what it is, but I find myself in strange situations at times. If you know me well enough, you know that I relate this to my similarities with the fictional “Larry David” on Curb Your Enthusiasm. I’m sure this stuff happens to others, but I think on a day-by-day basis, it is more probable to happen to me. Yesterday, I was involved in two awkward situations. I had to buy sneakers. I am completely brand loyal and a creature of habit, so, for me, this is actually a very easy process. I walk into a store that carries DC Court Graffik SE in suede, try on a size 10.5, pay, and move along. Since TSX in CrossgatesRead More
Pick 5: Titles to own on Blu Ray over Standard DVD
The Dark Knight – From the sound perspective alone, this is a no brainer. It comes with a Dolby TruHD 5.1 track, which is the same thing they adapted for IMAX. Also, there are alot of great dark and bright scenes to show off your HD TV. LOST Season 5 – Surround sound is awesome. And since this was filmed in and mastered in HD, there’s great detail everywhere. The best is how they visually enhance the greens and blues on the island using optical filters. Seriously an awesome HD experience. Watchmen – Although I’m a comic book fan, I’m not going to preach about how they ruined the book and yadda yadda. Watchmen was a great movie and theRead More
Have It Subway
It’s not my blog unless I have at least one post about Subway, so here you go. I am a frequent diner at Subway Sandwich establishments. I find that they are affordable and can accommodate my various dietary phases. If I want to be a blob, I order footlong meatball sandwiches. If I want to eat somewhat healthy but have a decent portion, I order a footlong Subway Club. If I am actively working out, I order six inch double meat sandwiches loaded with veggies. The best thing is that, no matter what I get, I’m in and out of there for under $9 including chips and a drink. I am a major fan of the Chipotle Southwest sauce, butRead More
Putting it all together
Those of you who know me in real life probably think that I’m a complicated individual. The thing is that I’m a rather simple guy. Above all things, I appreciate three things: logic, quality, and comedy. No matter how you actually know me, facebook, twitter, this blog, in real life, etc., you all get snippets of this. What about if you want to put it all together? That’s kind of hard, and I only know of a few people who actually can keep up with everything. I put together this blog post for anyone who does want to follow the various forms of social media that I am involved in. I’ve made quite a few good friends through the various social mediaRead More
Hey! Look at me!
Kristi Gustafson was kind enough to offer me a mini interview and post it on her popular blog. Read it here
Wow! This is graphic!
We were playing Super Nintendo one day at a neighbor’s house, and this kid (TY) that nobody really hung out with much brought over a game called Baseball Simulator 1000. It was a standard baseball game where the gimmick was that there were special weapon pitches and batters. Ohh yeah, and the players were robots. So it was a pretty wacky game. It had a decent look, and was actually a pretty decently balanced video game considering that it was a sports game. The sound kind of stunk, but the graphics were cool. Well, we all got tired of playing the game, so we started hitting the speed bag that they had in the basement. Well TY decided that heRead More

Rather than patronize Radio Shack and spend $12.99 on the cable, I found it for $3.62 on amazon with free two day shipping. Why not? I placed the order and it shipped almost immediately. Here’s a screen capture of the tracking information: Yep. That’s right. The package sat in a UPS facility for exactly one week before moving. Before you jump to any conclusions, the boxRead More
