I’ve had my eye on WWE since the beginning of the year. The last 5 years of not watching has left a void that I wanted filled, and I’ve been having high hopes, especially since Kevin Nash made a surprise appearance at The Royal Rumble¬†earlier this year.

There has been some buzz behind CM Punk and his worked shoot style recently, and it resulted in him leaving the company with the WWE championship and basically holding them up for more money.

For the week he was gone, somehow, John Cena became champion, and, once Punk returned, there were two legitimate WWE champions. This was settled at WWE Summerslam on August 14, 2011.

CM Punk defeated John Cena to become the undisputed WWE champion.

Out of nowhere, Kevin Nash attacked CM Punk¬†and allowed Alberto Del Rio, who had a “Money in the bank” shot at any champion any time he wanted, to swoop in and win the championship from a weakened Punk.

Back in the early 00’s, my buddies and I used to have a WWE Raw teleconference, where we’d all watch in our homes and make jokes. One thing I used to do was tease things that would never happen. Kevin Nash randomly rushing in through the crowd to attack CM Punk is exactly that type of thing.

I am so pumped right now because this is exactly why I have been watching since the beginning of the year.

I’m starting a WWE Raw chat on Facebook tonight at 9PM Eastern. If you’re interested, send me a message there telling me you are, and I’ll add you to the list. If we’re not friends, here you go.

You’re not going to want to miss this!

(Damn, I wish I forked over that $75)
