I won’t catch you if you fall…

My gym did this weird thing where it closed the main entrance and made members walk down one of two construction corridors. It was really awkward, especially when what I’m about to tell you happened.

I reached for the door to get into the gym the new way, and a woman fell directly into my arms.

What I think happened was that she was distracted by someone and decided to just lean backwards to open the door, but I foiled her flawed plan by opening the door just as she was committing to the lean.

People, don’t do this. It’s bush league. Nobody wants to touch a smelly, sweaty woman on the way out of the gym. It’s weird.

But what would have happened if I wasn’t a nice guy and let her fall on her face onto the textured, bare concrete ground?

I guess i just answered my question.
