13 years ago, the very first post on this blog went live on June 14, 2010, and it’s been a whirlwind of a ride.
We had 2010-2013 where between local dining reviews and Jersey Shore Recraps, this site got upwards of thousands of views per day.
Then there was 2013-2016 when I decided to take things in a more service based direction with recipes and yoga coaching.
Around that time, my son was born, and things went quiet here for a couple of years until 2018 when I mainly used this space on the internet to promote my endeavor to move this text and image based community to video.
5 years later, I’m up to just under 5000 YouTube subscribers, I produce weekly videos, a podcast, and almost daily short form videos that keep me in touch with what’s going on in the food world and to interact with everyone.
And all these years later, some of you were there on that day in 2010 and still watch the videos, view and interact with the post, send me DMs with crazy food things you find, and I couldn’t be more thankful.
So to everyone who sees this, thank you for an amazing 13 years, and I hope to keep this train running. My current goal is to catch up in YouTube subscribers to Emeril Lagasse, my inspiration for doing it all, and there’s a long way to go on that, so if you have a friend you can share this with, there’s room for everyone!
