Whatever comes to mind
I have a lot of little updates for you.
The first Yoga Reaches Out Albany event back in November was monumental. Baron Baptiste led us through a practice then I circulated the vendors and picked up some goodies. I can’t even remember everything that was there, but I do remember having some Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream, a bottle of Boost Clarity Juice (Incredible!), and Siena College had a stand with some sandwiches. I ran into my friend and DDP Yoga compatriot, Stacey, as well as many of the friends I’ve been connecting with in the local yoga community. It was a lot of fun, and the community came together to raise money for some great charities.
Emma is still cute as hell.
I’ve been hitting the Orangetheory Fitness workouts 4 times a week on top of my yoga training. In the last few months, I let my meals get a little out of control, and I put on some weight, some good, some not so good. Since the day after Christmas, I started a new meal plan modeled around DDP Yoga Phase 2, and I’ve already been noticing big changes in 3 weeks. I’m down 10 pounds, and, from my frequent progress photos, I notice a slight difference in size and flexibility. A big part of this plan is eliminating gluten and cow dairy. I’m not at the point where I’m treating it as a phobia, and I don’t think I’ll ever get there. It’s a different way of eating and cooking for me, so with that comes some new challenges. I’m always up for a good challenge.
Penelope is still attentive as hell. And cute.
Connected with the putting on weight thing, I finally did stop in to the Sonic near my house. Too many times. All I really care for there is the peanut butter Oreo shake, which is amazing. What’s not amazing is how they stick to you. Whatever, the ship is back on course.
I participated as a judge in a chili cook off at work, so now I have that on my resume.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III is pretty great. I was playing online a lot before the holidays. I gotta pick it back up again.
This one is exciting!!!
