How I started 2012

Here’s some of the ways I started 2012 (this was, of course, after our New Years Eve dinner at New World Bistro):

Crappy champagne at Midnight!

Cassie cooked sausage gravy with biscuits for breakfast on 1/1. It was incredible.

Cassie also cooked a prime rib dinner. Horseradish cream, Worschestershire mushrooms, polenta crusted roasted potatoes. Malbec wine to wash it all down.

Dessert at our (and every 15 year old girl within 30 miles of Albany) favorite yogurt shop, TCBY.

Mini-Jersey Shore marathon in the AM. Trip to Verizon to have them tell me I need to have a new phone shipped to me. Storage Wars marathon all afternoon. All-in-all, a pretty good day!

2012 is off to a great start, and things don’t look to be slowing down one bit!
