What do Gordon Ramsay, Apple Pie a la Mode, King’s Bakery Donuts, Cassie, and I have in common?

Cambridge Hotel (home of Apple Pie a la Mode) was once featured in an episode of Gordon Ramsay’s Hotel Hell (Episode: Hotel Hell Cambridge Hotel). We actually managed to dine there before renovations as well as after, and as a bonus, I proposed to Cassie on the balcony of the second floor of the hotel on our revisit.

The next morning, we walked down the road and picked up donuts at a quaint little cart called King’s Bakery. Every couple of years, we take the short ride back to Cambridge for these donuts. Bismarcks are essential.

On this trip, we tried a whole bunch! Limoncello cream, strawberry rhubarb, peanut butter cream, and the ICONIC raspberry jelly and BISMARCK.
