It seems like everyone NEEDS to know the mystery behind what’s in Guy Fieri’s Donkey Sauce.

Well, have I got a scoop for you?

I became privy to some insider information [side note: via google] that’ll allow us to recreate this epic and totally not worthless at all sauce.

(Watch me make the sauce here.)

What you need:

1 cup of mayonnaise
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Yellow Mustard (aka yella mustid if you’re Emeril Lagasse)
6 cloves of roasted garlic
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/8 tsp black pepper

Garlic cloves

To roast garlic, cut across the entire bulb of garlic about 1/3 from the top.

Oil on garlic

Place the whole bulb in some aluminum foil, and cover with a touch of extra virgin olive oil.

Roasted garlic purses

Bunch up the foil around like a purse and roast in a 400 °F oven for 45-60 minutes, until golden brown.

Roasted garlic bulbs

Gather your ingredients.

Ingredients for Donkey Sauce

Squeeze garlic cloves out of skin onto a cutting board. Use the back of a fork to mash them into a paste.

Guy Fieri's Donkey Sauce

=======================================

Alright, so you have this wacky Donkey Sauce. Now what do you do with it? Well you can use it for anything. Sandwiches, fries, popcorn. The intended use is to put it on burgers, like at Guy’s American Kitchen and Bar.

Jimmy Johns Bread

I hit up my local Jimmy Johns to get some bread for sliders…

Batter up!

…and I used the Donkey Sauce to construct an insane tower of beef sliders with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and Donkey Sauce.
